When Did You Stop Choosing Yourself?

Rediscover the person underneath everyone else’s expectations.

Somewhere along the way, did you stop putting yourself on your own priority list?

Life has a way of pulling us in a hundred different directions. We become partners, parents, caregivers, professionals, and the people everyone else depends on. We make sacrifices, adjust our priorities, and do what needs to be done. And while these roles can bring tremendous meaning and joy, sometimes we become so focused on who we are to everyone else that we lose touch with who we are to ourselves.

What happened to the dreams, passions, interests, and little things that once made you feel most like you?

When Did You Stop Choosing Yourself? is a 90-minute guided online workshop designed to help people reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been set aside while caring for others, meeting expectations, and navigating life’s changing responsibilities.

Through personal reflection, meaningful conversation, and interactive workbook exercises, you’ll explore:

  • Remembering who you are: Reflecting on the interests, passions, dreams, and personal qualities that have shaped your identity beyond the roles you fulfill.
  • Recognizing how you’ve changed: Exploring how your priorities, desires, and sense of self have evolved through different seasons of life.
  • Understanding where you put yourself aside: Identifying the expectations, responsibilities, and patterns that may have pushed your own needs into the background.
  • Reconnecting with what brings you joy: Rediscovering the activities, experiences, and parts of yourself that make you feel energized, fulfilled, and alive.
  • Giving yourself permission to choose you: Challenging the guilt or discomfort that can come with prioritizing your own happiness, needs, and personal growth.
  • Making room for yourself again: Identifying one meaningful part of yourself you’d like to reconnect with and choosing a realistic way to honor it in your everyday life.

This workshop isn’t about abandoning your responsibilities, changing who you are, or putting yourself ahead of everyone else. It’s about recognizing that your identity, happiness, and personal fulfillment matter, too—and that you deserve to have a meaningful place in the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

You’ll leave with a renewed understanding of who you are beyond your everyday roles, a personalized workbook, guided self-discovery exercises, and one intentional step toward reconnecting with a part of yourself you’ve been missing.
